Lot of stuff has been going down the last few days. Mostly regarding my job situation and other ventures. Everything from taking on a second job to dealing with the increasing workload from the upcoming holidays. It's unlivable that the year is almost over already. 2012 flew by in the blink of an eye. Hopefully this time next year my finances will be in better order and I can start thinking about my next big step in my life...moving out. But that's for 2014...as for now I am content with the way things are going.
Oh, and I switched scales once again to On30. Why...........because I can, that's why.

The 19th Century Railroad
I would like to extend an invitation to any who are interested, to step back in time to when the iron horse roamed the lands. A small but growing Discord server dedicated to Railroading and Industrial History of the 19th Century. We're a history minded group that specializes in the period of industrial growth that was the 19th century. A period where men where made of iron, and boxcars of wood. Here you'll find a community dedicated to sharing resources, information, photos, documents, and open discussion about the complex and storied past of our hared global rail heritage. We have historians, modelers, artists, writers, and many more. Archives full of shared information, drawings, and documents dedicated to railroading. We even have a channel for the Disney fan who wants to celebrate in the pop-culture life that the mouse gave to those pieces of old iron. So, if a trip back in time is something up your ally, don't be a stranger. Come check us out!
Dear DeviantArt
Fix your fucking site. The fact that it's so complex and painful to add art, literature, or anything of real value when compared to past 'updates' is insane.

By April, 1869, the grading crews of the soon-to-be transcontinental Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads, working far in advance of the tracklayers, had shoveled many miles of parallel grades across northern Utah. Each railroad wanted to build as much track as possible to get the congressional land grants and subsidies that came with every mile. The Union Pacific hoped to meet the Central Pacific at Monument Point, on the shores of the Great Salt Lake. The Central Pacific wanted to build east past Ogden, all the way to the mouth of Weber Canyon. The two railroads didn’t agree to a compromise until April 10, when officials from each line met in Washington D.C. and pointed their fingers at an otherwise empty spot on the map. It was a lonely high desert valley in the midst of the basins and ranges north of the Great Salt Lake, roughly equidistant from the ends-of-track. Their decision was ratified the next day by Congress. Telegraph messages were sent, and all
