Fall Skies At Grizzly Flats

It's a brisk Autumn morning at Grizzly Flats Georgia. Passengers are already gathering at the small depot among stacks of mail and milk. Despite the brisk chill in the air, the feeling on the platform is one of anticipation. The mail train is due any moment, and those gathered on the platform are looking forward to it's warm coaches.

Over the last year or so, I've been slowly building an NMRA module. Built more or less as a diorama, it focuses on a small 19th century town, called Grizzly Flats in memory of the spirit of the original depot and railroad that inspired Walt Disney to build a theme park. The depot building is built from a kit, with a new roof and interior walls. The platform is scratch built from bass wood. I intend to make the diorama as detailed as I can, with most of the structures being scratch built, or made from resin kits.
